Certified Organic Ground Beef - Prince George, BC

Matt and Lizzie have been raising beef on their ranch in Prince George since 2016. Their cattle are fed a diet of natural orchard grasses consisting of brome, timothy & clover that we grow exclusively ourselves. They also produce their own grass hay that they feed in the winter. Their cattle are 100% grass-fed & finished which means they are NEVER given any grain or corn. They eat this natural diet 100% of the time.

Their cattle are also free to roam and graze at their leisure, which not only results in a high-quality meat, but also ensures their well-being and reduces the risk of diseases.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC

One of the reasons they fell in love with their farm is that the previous owner believed in natural farming practices and healthy animal husbandry. The fields have never been treated with any chemical pesticides or herbicides. Their land and cattle are Certified Organic by the British Columbia Association of Regenerative Agriculture (BCARA). Stewardship of their land and animals is of the utmost importance and is maintained by following the Canadian Organic Standards.
