Zopf is the Swiss Sunday bread. It is a kids' favourite.
The fancy part of this bread is that it is that the liquid in the dough is partly milk and butter. This makes the texture of the bread especially smooth and chewy. It is not a sweet bread and can be used either as bread with honey, jam or as sandwich bread. Many customers make French toast with it.
Ingredients:
Unbleached white flour, water, milk, butter, sourdough, salt, malt, yeast.
Glazing: egg yolk
NOTE: all bread products will come to you FROZEN, from same-day baked batches. We will get them fresh to you whenever possible.
