Whole Bean Coffee - COLUMBIA

These beans from Huila, Columbia have an intense cocoa flavour. There are few countries more famous for their coffee than Colombia. And within Colombia, no region produces more coffee than Huila, a mountainous department lying in the southwest.

Coffee is one of those things we can be picky about (isn't it addictive or something? :P) When I started drinking Dancing Goat coffee, it took me a few cups to adjust, just because it's different: it won't taste like your typical cup of coffee and that's a good thing! Now I love it. I think you will too.

DGCC is a family-owned coffee roastery located right here in Williams Lake, BC. Isaac and Christy created the business in 2013 when they were finding it too difficult to source quality coffee beans that were not over-roasted. 

This speaks to the difference you can expect with Dancing Goat's coffee: they use a Coffee Crafters Artisan X hot air, fluid bed roaster which creates a bean that is refreshing and smooth in taste rather than bitter and burnt. They also import their beans through a direct trade supplier who passes on all the information they glean from the farms they visit and setup contracts with.

Isaac and Christy are dedicated to creating a coffee experience that captures the nuanced flavours within a coffee bean often lost to standard roasting techniques, and doing so with a few middle-men as possible. Which we like very much!
